I have one moment that I think back to until today and can say it was truly perfect.
It was Christmas eve (which is the day we celebrate in Germany). We had gotten up, had a big breakfast with the whole family and I was finished getting dressed up and ready for the movies (our Christmas tradition).
There was a white coating of frost on everything - our yard and the fields behind it looked like a perfect postcard.
I decided to take my dog for a quick stroll over the fields before we headed out.
So I found myself standing on the edge of the freshly mowed field, watching my fluffy little black dog bounce happily over the stubble, feeling the icy wind go right through my knit sweater and not caring whatsoever. I knew the rest of the day held nothing but harmony and happiness, food and fun and presents, but I could have stood there, just watching my dog for the rest of my life.
I though to myself - life truly doesn't get any better than this.

Ummmm... Probably when I first met my best friend when I was 5. I was so small and innocent and we just had so much in common... It's been late afternoon and I went with my mom to my grandma's nieghbor's party and that's where we met because we were the only kids there. It's been 10 years and we still are best friends.

July 21st, 2007. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released.

The day I found out I was pregnant. (The day my son was born was amazing ... but a bit painful ... lol)
